We’ve been taught that Christian life is a life of peace, and when we don’t have peace, we assume the problem lies within us. Not only do we feel anxious, but we also feel guilty about our anxiety! In this study based on Max Lucado’s “Anxious for Nothing” examination of Philippians 4:4-8, we will think through St. Paul’s admonitions in these verses of what it means and how it works to let go of fears and anxieties to live moment by moment trusting in Jesus.

Join us as we read and discuss Pastor Bryan Wolfmueller's book which explores the theological trends of revivalism, pietism, mysticism, and enthusiasm which reach into the American Church across denominations, and in one way or another, draw attention away from Jesus and His words of comfort and life. Rejoice with us in the alternative to "American Christianity" which resides in humble churches with humble people and pastors whose treasure is the pure Word of God, Law and Gospel, and the Sacraments.
